I am Procrastination. . . . 2/9/21
This is Me. . . . I take up space and time!
I deface, devalue, distract, dismantle, disturb, disengage, deconstruct, and damage self esteem; Your Worth?
I side track you with trivialities. . . .
My gifts tempt, tease, torment, and torture you as boredom, complacency, disinterest, laziness, lethargy, irritability, and anxiety. Do you enjoy my many disguises? A quick release, a vacation, a funny or thrilling movie. Perhaps you’ve joined me down memory lane getting caught up in nostalgia? Better yet, starting and stopping that creative project, or a meaningless task. . . Saying Yes when you really mean No. . .

This is me. . . I am driven by fear; the gift my parents gave me.
I enjoy being sneaky and sly on occasion.
My favorite past-time is watching the creative ways you stall, push aside, leave behind, sacrifice, and defer your dreams and goals.
Your deepest desires are heathered in me.
I am the gift that keeps on giving. . . .
Come play with me,
there’s always plenty of time!
Run away with me; forgetting is half the battle.
What’s that you say? Going to the gym. . .
This cozy couch is calling your name. . .
Look, your favorite television program is about to begin . . .
The pint of ice cream is still in the freezer. . .
Oh dear, it’s cloudy outside. . . Laundry needs folding. . .
I guess there’s always tomorrow!

This is me. . . This is my post.
It’s taking me this long to write down my Advanced Imagination Musing.
I wonder who will read it. . . .
I wonder when it will be read. . .
I can totally relate to this. Thank you for sharing.
